PRIORITY WASTE RESOURCES LLC is Hiring a Sales Development Representative Near Clinton, MI

Company Summary

Priority Waste (www.prioritywaste.com), headquartered in Clinton Township, Michigan, provides waste hauling services. Our company has experienced rapid growth since its founding in 2018. This growth has allowed us to continually expand our workforce. The Company operates out of several facilities, including two transfer stations. Priority Waste maintains a diversified platform providing service to both municipal solid-waste, construction and demolition customers. Through our yellow fleet of residential, roll off, and front load trucks and containers, Priority Waste makes the customer experience our #1 priority.

Candidate Profile

About 80% of this role will be sales-focused while the remaining 20% will be customer service focused and account management. In the role of Sales Development Representative, you will work closely with the VP of sales to make outbound cold calls as well as answering warm leads from businesses and individual homeowners.


Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage business relationships
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts; ensure contract terms are met
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients
  • Provide information, quotes, credit terms, and other bid specifications to clients
  • Cold calling new business, prospecting leads, and following up on warm leads
  • Other duties or projects as assigned

Candidate Profile

  • The successful candidate profile includes:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, marketing, or sales preferred but not required
  • Experience with a CRM and Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet KPIs and individual sales goals
  • Prior waste experience is a plus, but not required

Location & Travel

The Sales Development Representative will work onsite at the company’s corporate office in Clinton Twp., MI and require no travel.
